Kim Ng
Kim Ng is the former General Manager of Major League Baseball’s Miami Marlins and was the first woman to serve as GM of an American Big Four pro sports team. She’s also married to Silas winemaker Tony Markward. If she weren’t busy getting a new women’s pro softball league off the ground, she would whip the business side of Silas Wines into shape. But the truth is, she is content to enjoy the fruits of Tony’s labor, and has a special fondness for the wine we named in her honor—Enna Hay. Some of the Spanish-speakers she met in her baseball travels would call her Señora “Enna Hay” in an endearing effort to pronounce her last name. It’s the perfect name for her favorite wine of each vintage.
